G,day mate and welcome .
just thought i would drop you a reply cos of your hartly boat comment .
when i was a kid back in the second half of the 60's in the UK dad and i built a hartly boat .
the first half of the work was done in the kitchen at night and with hand tools only except for a 3/8 wolf drill .we had to move out of the kitchen once she needed to go onto the stocks and started taking shape
can't remember the exact model of the boat but it was a 15' 6'' half cabin.double 3/16" ply skin over timber frames with a big flair in the bow , i have an old book here of the hartly boat plans , some where.

G'day Elson,
Used to own and race a Hartley 16 with dynel sheathed hull. Progressed to bigger sailing boats now as befits my advancing years. I do have fond memories of mine which was a four berth. Not much room for anything else.
