Overlay flooring on concrete
Hi all, long time reader, first time poster
I would like some advice on laying 10mm jarrah flooring onto concrete, one idea I had was as I have surplus wood to my requirements and to save buying plywood, I would lay the 80mm floorboards as battens spaced every 30 - 40cm. The questions I have are what is the best way of fixing the battens to the concrete, do I need to place a moisture barrier down first (slab is above all outside ground levels) and I was considering buying an ebay secret nailer for fixing it, any issues here
