I will try to do anything!!!
Well I am just in the process of setting up my shed. I have a Radial arm saw that I have just made a top for RA2500 second hand $200 and a triton 2000 workcenter with the Sliding ext table RA200.
Most of the things I've made so far are cupboards and shelves or bits to modify.I just put in some Ikea builtin wardrobes (I can't build them for as cheep) but you know you got to cut the skirting board or cut spacers to pack above the skirting between the cupboard and wall.
I prefer to make things you can't buy. We were living in the inner city and I had all my gear at a mates place. Storage in an appartment is a big thing. There was a void above our stinless steel fridge. using MDF I made two shelves , one 2cm above the fridge then one half way to the ceiling. I painted them with sanding sealer , sanded them nice and smooth then painted them with pewter spray paint. Color was amost perfect match to the fridge! to the underside of the top shelf I screwed chrome glass racks. On the top of that shelf I put all of our cocktail spirits. When we sold the place the Realestate agent said that everyone loved it , It would have cost all of $50 to do and yet everyone said WOW.
Hope to make some more solid wood things. Made some bedside tables totaly without screws just dowels

Pave Lock and Ants
G'day ffolks,
We have just had a new house built next to us and all the ants in Jandakot seem to have migrated to our lawns and driveway. I hav tried powders, sprays and they keep popping up some where else. None of the pest contractors will guarantee solving the ant problem but want $ 600 for doing it.
A builder suggested Pave Lock - some silicon based filler - but then in the forums here it doesn't seem to be successful.
Does anybody know of something that will work as my bricks are subsiding where we go into the garage front.
Cheers People
