A very "CCallm" birthday
Having been to the "bowl bash" at Calm's (David's) house today
in Ballarat I am surprised that he kept his birthday a secret.
It was not until I got home, checked the photos etc. taken by
"Groggy" that I discovered that it was a special day for him.
Congratulations David and thanks for catering for our needs
at the "bash" - we all appreciated it.

i suppose when you are Calm's age you tend to ignore these things.
A well kept secret.

Other people just get shorter with age. But calm seems to have gotten very stubby.

He tells fibs too.
Only 10 days ago he told me he couldn't afford to buy a Vicmarc.
Now I know why, he was waiting for the birth of a Stubby.
Enjoy David.
Cheers

Thankyou everyone - the deal was done Wednesday after i visited the factory on Tuesday as i drove past the stubby factory to check on the progress of the "swivel head " model.
It wont be ready until June but i "persuaded" him for a loaner until its finished - then i have to make up my mind on this 750 or the new swivel head model.
I'm pretty impressed with this so far.
Thanks again it was a good day spent with good people so another birthday i enjoyed.
Tim - i couldn't afford the Vicmark but i am sure there will be a secondhand VL300 come up in the near future - As for affording a Stubby well i got a good deal beleive me. As for paying well a couple of good/big weeks in the truck will fix it.
