Packaging leaflets/junk mail for delivery?
My youngest son has decided to take a up delivery run for junk mail for some pocket money.
The delivery side of things isn't too bad but his first batch of 1000 deliveries had 10 different bits of junk mail that had to be collated - that's 10000 individual items.
Anyway putting all the leaflets together so they could be carried and delivered easily was a nightmare (Mum and Dad got to most of that fantastic job).
I was thinking maybe there is a device that can easily slip a rubber band over a rolled up bunch of the leaflets? i.e. roll the leaflets , insert them into said device which then releases a rubber band..
Any ideas?

The easiest way to collate them is to put the largest and thickest pamphlet on the bottom and work up to the smallest one (or the next size up if the smallest is too small) and do them in bundles of 10 or 20 secured by rubnber band.
Best is to put the bundles beside you on a couch and small table in front of you and work from the outside in from right and left, etc.
Have fun. BTW collating is half the work, do you get half the money?
Peter.
