Hi boys and girls...
Thought I better pop in here and say hello.
I'm Andrew but you can call me Bert, long story, not that interesting. I'm a student studying furniture design and manufacture here in Melbourne - oldest in the class (a good thing I think). Great fun so far having not ever really done the hand tool thing. Doing more renovations/power tools and car projects in my past life. I plan on working for myself or in a small team doing furniture/joinery once finished with school - two years away, so am busy setting up my workshop - awesome fun buying things!
I've also bought and paid for a small pile of Bessey clamps in the GB thread - thought I better introduce myself before they are ready for collection
I'm very religious also, having followed the beliefs of Festool for ten years now, though I am divided. Incra have some great ideals also.

Always on the lookout for which religion is right for me, but alas there is so many choices.www.lockwoodcanvas.com.au
I will never be the person who has everything, not when someone keeps inventing so much cool new stuff to buy.
From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".

No Toni, not me. Only people in the virtual world call me bert. Not my name or part of at all.
Thanks for the welcome all
