    Default gorilla mighty 15

just wondering if any has any bad points about this ladder,
looking at it it looks like the bees knees of this type of ladder.
I have borrowed similar product (obviously cheap version) from a friend and by the time I fold it into the position I might need at a given time, I'm worn out as it seems to lock in all the wrong places and I can't be bothered doing the job anymore !!!!!!
The gorilla looks fool proof and ergonomically friendly.
Bunnings have them at $219 at the moment, just wondering if there is better pricing out there (sth aust),
    any feed back appreciated.

    Default Gorilla ladders

I assume the Gorilla Mighty 15 is the one that can be folded into an M shape?

If so then a couple of points:

    # A friend of mine in the building game says that those types of ladders are not allowed on building sites due to safety concerns.

    # they can be somewhat limited in their use despite their apparent versatility.

As for quality, I have a Gorilla ladder that is an extendible step ladder. It has "slide on"" legs that go over a regular type step ladder. These can be extended to increase the reach of the ladder. One side only can be extended to cater for sloping ground, staircases etc, The outer legs can be removed and set up as separate step ladder. These two can be then used to establish a trestle for planks. The Ladder can be opened 180degrees to be used as an extension ladder.

For me it was a great buy. Even my Brother was impressed enough, after borrowing mine, to buy one himself. No Better recommendation!

The quality of the whole unit is first rate.

    Default gorilla 19

have just been researching a bit more as we do !
    found exactly what I need, it's the Mighty 19 (mm19-d), however,slight problem,
gorilla discontinued this line about 12 months ago, so none around !
this ladder was rated domestic and had all the abilities of the current models but its straight sections were 1.8m and or 5.8m (whch was ideal for what I want),
slight longer than the mighty 15 which I think is 1.5m and 4.5m.
so it "wood" be nice if someoe in adelaide had 1 that they wanted to part with !!!!!!!!!!!
anyway it's get late and I got to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
