Painting a rough surfaced ceiling
Hey all,
I bought a place six months ago which has a common, yet painful, ceiling. It's a rough surface, kind of like spray on concrete - I presume it's something to do with either acoustic or fire retardant but the question is, how on earth do I paint it?
See the photo below for what I'm talking about, although it's not shown well. The apartment has one room where they've gyprocked it, but looks like it was a helluva job.
It's currently a gray colour and I'm just wanting to paint it a ceiling white. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
Greg
