Default CONSTRUCTION QUIZ for 17 Oct 04

    Good Evening Friends,
I don't know how it is in the land of OZ, but up here in the USA construction used to come to a screeching halt in late October or November till spring.

However now construction is year around. How or what makes this possible?

    Respectfully,

Builders get paid less so they have to work longer hours.

You light a series of campfires around the house site to melt the snow and ice as it settles

Default CONSTRUCTION QUIZ for 17 Oct 04

    Good Evening Friends,
Up here we cover the entire building with winter protection on commercial jobs and heat with many different methods from small torpedo heaters to even recycled jet engines. However the poor fellows working on houses and lower paying jobs have to bundle up to stay warm while they are doing the work.
I know that I have been out in the weather with a wind chill factor of -26º F.
When your hungry and have bills to pay this is what one must do. Sure glad those days are over.

    Thank you for your support,

    Respectfully,
    Ralph Jones Woodworking
