Marri Veneer Water Stain
Does any-one have any ideas about how to remove grey staining from Marri veneer?
I suspect that it's water staining as the stain appears on every leaf throughout the whole pack of veneer.

Marri stain
Hi Ian,
When I used to mill Marri I would often notice some sort of spalting(fungal infection)
Through parts of the tree as I milled it and it is my opinion that there is some sort of symbiosis happening as the tree is growing.
What I am saying is Marri is very very susceptible to fungal attack and probably has spores ready to germinate upon contact with water.
Your timber may have come from a tree that was already infected but didn`t show until the timber got wet again or it was there all the time .
Either way my guess is your stuck with the stain - so maybe use it as a feature or send it back.
Good luck
