Electrician problems, help please
Hi,
I hope someone can put me on the right track here.
We have completed, and awaiting sign off, for a large extension. Our electrician installed 11 downlights, and I don't have a lot of detail on them but I will continue, in a family room and kitchen. We also have a flat roof.
In following up with the electrician he has indicated that legislation changed in Jan 09 and they downlights we have will not pass inspection and they need to have a "cover" on them in the ceiling space.
I have asked him to get back to me with more information and as yet I have heard nothing. I am very frustrated and I was hoping someone here could help me with any further details and if this is in fact the case.
TIA,
astra
