Downpipes - t-section at bottom
Hi,
On our 2nd story the downpipes flow out onto the roof.
At the end of the downpipe there a T junction that "distributes" the water onto the tiles. I don't know what this part is called but it is common on most of the 2nd story homes in the area.
The problem is that this piece is very noisy as the water reverberates off the metal when it rains keeping us up at night.
Is there anything wrong with simply removing this piece from the downpipe ?
Cheers
GS
