    Default Found on road verge

HI all, found on road verge 4 weeks ago a old wooden table.
    turned jarrah legs aprox 60mm x 60mm.
    top rails 100mm x 25mm.
    top was pine,but destroyed.
unfortunately it was painted, like about one thousand coats.
i used paint stripper and removed 95%.
the only place i cant remove the paint is in the turned grooves
and some places the paint has soaked into the wood.
how do i get rid of the paint in the hard places?
when finished,it will be my POKER TABLE as seen in a movie.
would appreciate as much info as possible.
    regards menace

I'm a caustic soda man myself, it doesn't usually leave much behind.

    Hi ya menace,

Get hold of a triangular scraper that will get into the grooves or an old hacksaw blade, touch it up on the grinder in necessary, the blade that is, not the table. Or in the past for really difficult stuff I've totally disassembled the frame and put the legs in a lathe and cleaned them out that way.

    Hope these suggestions help.

    Cheers
