We have recently purchased a 2 bedroom unit and are doing a renovation of the entire thing. The kitchen is going ok but in regards to the bathroom, there is a P trap from drain in the unit above which comes down in a vented box from the already lowered ceiling right in the centre of the room.

We are knocking out the wall between the toilet and the shower so will be redoing the ceiling anyway but im wondering if there is a way to hide or spruce up the P trap as it really looks ugly at the moment and sticks out in the room. Ill post a picture shortly. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
