G'day mates from Perth WA
G'day mates,
My name is David Gomm, from Perth, Western Australia, I am currently building a Michael Storer designed PDRacer, so I will be in the Michael Storer Wooden Boat Forum mostly.
I am a keen DIY enthusiast, I have scratch built wooden radio controled model boats, and I am interested in model trains too ( I have a 8 by 4 ft layout at home ).
I look forward to seeing what you get up to here, woodwork covers such a wide variety of interests.

G'day David and welcome to the fun.
Not into boats much myself, except to admire their beauty.

Thank you all for you're hearty welcomes
Hi Everyone,
Thank you all for you're hearty welcomes, the PDRacer that I'm building is still not much to look at, but the design is extremely practical.
Belieive it or not this is an International racing class of sailing dinghy !!!.
As you can see I still have a way to go, 6 months work so far, but i'll get there eventually.

Know stuff all about making boats myself. Will have to watch your progress.
Welcome.
Woodwork forums: better than the funky pills they feed you in the nuthouse.www.lockwoodcanvas.com.au
I will never be the person who has everything, not when someone keeps inventing so much cool new stuff to buy.
From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".
