Just looking for some advice. I need to install and laundry in my garage. The only problem being the waste water pipe is on the opposite side of the garage to where the washer must go with a concrete floor in between.

So my only option is to instal a macerator pump that can handle soapy grey water (ie. the saniflo sanivite pump). The pump will have to pump up a wall across roof and to drain. The issue here is, the pump is pricey. I got a price through a plumbing distribution place my work has an account with and it came back at just under $1000.

Are there any other similar products people have used to do this same job?

You can get the same pump from the states for about $400 australia (although 110-115v not 240v).
