how to seal a sand cement hearth? to plaster
Hearth is layed......will be about 3 weeks of cure time....
I am planning on using a plaster decorative finish over the hearth and the brick surround this easter. At this point the bricks have a painted enamel in various colours and the s/c is raw........should I paint a enamel undercoat over the sand and cement?
The plan is to coat the entire area with plaster and then give it a rough finish and then tint/glaze it..........
cheers
Jan
edited to add..........what about bondcrete? will that work with another waterbased product over it?
