    Default Turn-fest 2009

If you were not there, you have missed it Taking deposits for next year though, on the Gold Coast again, in March 2010.

Last weekend, what a blast. Met quite a few forumites, but heaps of other committed turners. Fantastic demos, I learnt heaps and would recommend attending to everyone. To actually meet the experts, watch them work and chew the fat

Here are just a few photos, the tables of show & tell, and some of Cindy's work (my favourite - she certainly has the knack with shape as you can see) Sorry about the dust in the photo on some, and some items are not finished.

    Cheers
    Neil

So we are going to see a MASSIVE jump in turnout and ability from all the members who attended?

Can only hope so. I'm keen to try the multi-axes turning for a clock stand, texturing burning and colouring on some bowl rims, a cow bone box, and of course refining my finials

    G'Day Neil,

    Nice pics.

I am glad you enjoyed the week end. We all certainly had a ball.

    I look forward to 2010.
