Prefinished solid timber floor problem
Hi All
A few years ago we installed a Tillcote prefinished solid timber floor in our lounge and dining area, and now wish to extend the area covered to include a hallway, but Tilling Timber (who made Tillcote) no longer make/supply this product.
So I am looking for a similar product. The Tillcote product profile is 11mm in height, 84mm width coverage per strip, and our colour is Northern Brushbox. It is glued over the old existing floorboards (i.e. not floating)
The height is the most critical dimension as the extended area will meet the existing Tillcote floor in a doorway. So long as colour and width per strip coverage are similar, that would be OK.
Closest I have found is Hynefloor from Hyne Timber in Queensland, but it is not pre-finished.
Preference is for solid timber to veneer type.
Any ideas anyone?
Regards
Alan
