    Gees old fart.

Shouldnt be too hard to find, just sniff the air, and when the Huon smell gets real strong just follow it.
Its not like you can get lost in Hobart.
    Which I really love BTW.

I'd be guessing it's in Melbourne, the weekend after this?

    Thank you ptc.
ozwinner - the smell of huon pine and tassie oak and ......is strong. Makes it hard to pick up the show trail smell. I just found a great place for timber just down the road from me, it's called Island Speacialty Timbers, Cemetary Rd., Geeveston. Ph. (03) 62971479. They deal in Blackwood, Myrtle, Huon pine, Celery top pine, Sassafras, Eucalypts and Leather wood. I am going shopping!!!!

echidna, that is a big benefit regardless of what tree huggers think. The forests in Tassie are safe. The Greens are full of brown!

Default Tasmanian Working with Wood Show

I'll be there for the three days, floating around looking or on the Woodcraft Guild Tasmania's stand, inside the main entrance door and to the left in the foyer. Hope to catch up with a lot of Tasmanian forum members there. We get Richard Raffan demonstrating as well.

I haven't seen the latest exhibitor listing but the last one I saw showed U-Beaut and Carrolls Woodturning Supplies as exhibitors. Is this still the case?

    regards

U-Beaut are hoping to be able to make it Depends on what we have left after Melbourne show. Carroll's won't be there. It's a bit of a logistical nightmare going to Tas, even for small timers like us.

    Cheers - Neil
