    Default G'day from WA

I'm Rob Phillips. I work as a university academic encouraging other academics to use IT to improve their teaching at uni.

Both my wife Rita and I have a long term interest in all aspects of woodwork, and we have a 10x6m workshop which is pretty well set up. We did most of the timber work on our house ourselves, including panelling all of our lounge room in jarrah and baltic pine. I also do a bit of turning and arbortech carving. My level of skill is that I can produce work as well as a professional, but in 3 times the time!

    Hi Rob, welcome.
When both of you love it to work with wood, it's a guanrantee for a peaceful woodworking life , the most wonderful hobby, isn't it.

    Groetjes Ad,

I don't know about guaranteed peace. We often disagree about the best way to fix/join things.

Rita has relatives in Hengelo and den Haag, who we visit from time to time.

Yeah the name Rita is as Dutch as it could be.
Living in Bergen op Zoom, so close to Antwerp, make that we are almost Belgian
About guaranteed piece, this will not mean that it is not allowed to have sometimes a disagree !!
