South Aust
This one is for all you who live in SA, I am looking at moving there but first I want to find an area to live in I was thinking Western Adelaide. Can any one tell me what this area is like and what place not to buy in for high crime rate.
Thanks David

areas to consider in Adelaide
David, as in many cities, there are good parts in many areas of the city. I think you would do better to consider areas in the north of the CBD, up to Regency road.In the west of Adelaide, the closer to the coast the better.
The eastern suburbs are the most up-market if you have plenty in the budget.

Davoren Park is a lovely quiet leafy suburb with many friendly neighbours and is well patrolled by the constabulary.

I'm in Stirling in the hills...a bit of graffiti now and then but have never seen any street riots since I moved here. I think you'll find that even the "better" suburbs have good and bad areas.
The only bad thing about living in the hills is having mountain bike riding, guitar building geriatrics like me as a neighbour.Whatever note you blow youre never more than a semitone away from the correct one....(Miles Davis)
