Hi from a newbie
G'day to all. I am new to woodworking, something I have picked up later on in my life, 52 not out. I know very little about woodwork, but am keen to pick up any bits of knowledge I can. I hope to gain knowledge through this forum, and in return, have something to offer, though at this stage it wouldn't be much.
Cheers.

Yeah I recon u will find this site quite addictive. I have.
There are a few other side "sections" to this site like metal working. Recon its good for those like me who feel a bit "lacking in skill" when it comes to the finer aspects of wood working.

I will never be the person who has everything, not when someone keeps inventing so much cool new stuff to buy.
From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".
