hi there

im about to box in my verandah and was wondering about adding sarking in the roof or not.
Do they build without sarking at all?

In the early mornings there is quite a bit of condensation on the underside of the verandah iron.

if i box the roof in and line it with cement sheet will there still be condensation? And will the moisture be a problem?
I have been told that sarking helps to catch moisture and direct it to the outer edges of the wall line and outside the cladding somehow.

i am not going to lift the iron and add a complete seamless sarking to the roof but should i fill in the gaps between the rafters with sarking and direct it over my wall plate and outside the cladding?

Another option would be to maybe leave plenty of ventilation into the cavity which i could do no problem...

what do you think?

thanks
