Removing fat from unfinished decking
G'day all,
I learned the hard way on the weekend that my BBQ doesn't catch all of the fat that runs off the plate, so now I have several small fat stains on an un-finished Merbau deck. Not pleased.
Can anyone suggest a way to remove the stains? I've had a go at them with hot water and soap to no avail. I'll admit I haven't tried the oxalic acid yet, I'll give that a go this evening. Any other bright ideas?
Let me know if some pics will help. Thanks in advance.
Dave.
