standard vanity trap size
I have just installed anew bath because the new bath had a smaller hole I replaced my trap and drain with 40mm. I do find it strange that the modern bath/shower baths only have a hole suitable for 40mm pipe yet a stand alone shower has a 50mm. I suppose if a shower starts to back up you get a wet floor but in a bath shower only your feet get wet.
I am replacing my vanity too and I have just had a look at the drain hole. It appears smaller than the old one too is that right? what size is it 32mm?
I feel another trip to Bunnings coming on!
