    Default hello from scotland

Hi everyone, my name is craig and live 35 miles south of glasgow and i'm currently on the process of emigrating to australia, i've been a carpenter for about 17 years and hope to receive a skilled working visa to get into this beautifull country with my wife and three kids. Been looking at australian housing and must say i'm very impressed indeed.
I have to go through a practicle test from a company called vetassess, I would be grateful if anybody reading this could give me some pointers on how you go about on, setting out and marking a stud partition ( australian standards) with window and door, i have read about this practicle test on forums and to be honest, i'm a bit confused hence the reason i'm on this forum.
    please help!
    kind
    regards
    craig

Welcome Craig. I can't help you either but I am sure someone will. You might be better off posting in another part of the forum for advice on this. Or maybe one of the mods can move this post so it will get more attention. Good luck with your coming to Australia.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John

G'day Craig, I reckon you'd do better at the renovate forums ( our sister...ahem ...brother forum) but in the meantime I'll get this post shifted to a relevant forum.

    Copied it to Woodwork General
