Wireless Internet Everywhere!!
Well not yet, but Telstra's roll out into McDonald's Stores (a true Axis of Evil if ever I saw one!), Starbucks and other locations in getting a bit of a head of steam it would seem

$5.00 for the first 15mins and 20 cents a minute thereafter.
No need to go home ever again.

I reckon they should put em in the Subway stores and encourage healthier eating habits instead of the fat loaded mayo based microwaved meat tasting cardboard that maccas sells as hamburgers. Even hungry Jacks is a better option

Pete,
Great idea! I've written to Telstra (just now) to enquire about logistics.
When I hear back, we just need to send heaps of emails to Subway Aus. I'll post the contact details then.

The trouble with Subway shops is the you can't swing a cat in most of them.

The secret to the low-fat chicken subs is getting dangerously near to being exposed methinks!
As for swinging cats Bazza.... most of us used to have mice on our computers, which are a heap smaller, but now we have these great little inventions called trackpads.
I reckon if I can use my laptop on a Jetstar flight, I could bring out a laptop, printer and A1 plotter in a typical Subway store!! (Took Magda and four of her mates to unwind my legs though: Jetstar's seat spacing is somewhat less than my upper leg dimension:eek: .
Actually if the wireless thing works the way it does at home, there'd be enough range to sit in your car outside (or go next door to Cold Rock ice cream), and update files as well: I'd be thinking that'd be pretty good for the truly mobile among us!
