Hello from Perth
What a great forum - I stumbled on to this forum by accident and I am impressed by the scope of the forum.
I am into restoring old furniture, vintage cars (there can be lot of wood in vintage cars) and building things in general.
My workshop has more metalwork machines than woodworking and I love the versatility of my Shopsmith which is a great machine.

Welcome Graham. You'll become addicted like the rest of us.

Welcome Graham!! Some of us are more addicted to the forum then the shed. If you happen to suffer insomnia you'll find some one from most time-zones online to answer any question.
A few pics of your work (metal or wood) will please us mightily.

Spanner
Know what you mean about being addicted to forums
Unfortunately I have not taken many photos of past projects but have started to record my latest project which is a custom International ute and you can see some pictures here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ar110ute/?saved=1 The rear floor of the ute will be seasoned Sheoak that was scavanged from a timber mill before it shutdown.
The avatar on my post is my Chrysler that I relucantly sold recently. I made the coachwork from American white oak and the wheel spokes that I had to replace were made from hickory axe handles (they had the right shape to start with and were cheap)
