Hoping that there is somebody who has come across this one before or has the working knowledge of old deposited plans:

I have a copy of an old deposited plan from 1924 upon which our block/house is located. At the rear of our property immediacy adjacent - there appears to be a spare space with writing that is not legible and runs from the top of the hill to the bottom at the rear of all properties in our street. Effectively it separates our street from the street next door and at a guess (1" to 100'!!! on the plan ) probably 2m wide. At the rear of our block at this point we have our fence and then just goes to the rear neighbours (ie no double fence).

In addition on the deposited plan it has a note 1: The site of Easements has been provided at the request of the Council, no restrictions will be stipulated for. Any ideas what this actually means in english?

I have checked a sanitary drainage plan and it is not an easement for sewer. That is located in a different position.

Obviously I am hoping that this might be an open easement for stormwater!! But any ideas if this could be it? or where I could go to determine if this could be what I am after? I am not too keen on installing a costly absorption trench system if I can use an open easement at my back fence.
