River red gum
Does anyone know a supplier of interesting grained red gum in sizes of 100x100 x1000mm? Ron Booth, Blackmans Bay , Tasmania

Hi Ron,
I bought this Red River Gum from a Place called Cockatoo Timbers at Cockatoo Creek, Ebor NSW.
Interesting Grain and texture, very heavy as well.

Steve, what a beautiful and fine piece.
Is the top and are thecurved rails really all red gum.

Thanks Ron, the Top is Birdseye Red River Gum (Never seen it before or since)
Curves at the plinth are made from Sepelle. Just for interest sake the draw on the left is a deep draw not 2 singles and has around 52 hand cut dovetails in it. Please to finish that bit
