    Default Sad loss in Wallan

    Ray Laffan, champion lawn bowler of Wallan, would not be known
    in woodworking circles but would be known to many Forumite
    bowlers. He has won about 14 club singles championships plus
    countless others within the Central Highlands and Central Bowls
    Associations.

    Unfortunately Ray lost his life on Friday night when he was
    offloading a car from a towtruck. His truck started to roll and he
    tried unsuccessfully to get back in the cabin before the truck
    passed over him.

    He was a thorough gentleman and will be sadly missed.
