Adding structural pine joists
Hi guys,
I have a simple question that might have been asked before!
I just ripped out my bathroom t&g floor and want to add more joists for stiffening under the new door i want to open. Can i used mgp10 stuctural pine for joists or do they have to be Hardwood as existing ?
can't find any hardwood the same size 100X50 and according to span tables i can use 90x45 mpg10
any suggestions appreciated.
