    Default Warning....warning

If you use black shellac made from old 78 records.
Keep all pins or sharp things away from the finished object.

I dropped a bunch of straight pins on the table I finished with black shellac.
And I got all this weird mixed up music coming from the table.
It freaked me out, man. ( always remember to add "man" after freaked out )

Paul, its fair dinkum, almost any old vinyl will do the trick its just that some rare runs from particular labels have a content of Gold shellac which gives a deep lustre. Al has found that Max Bygreaves works well and is now experimenting with some Johnny Houghton and Doris Day. Val Doonican is another that works well in 78's.

It is only the old 78's & 16's that were made of shellac. Not the 45's and LP's which were vynal and won't work.

Don't use anything from the 60's unless you want a stoned finish
