Odd Forum Display problems
I don't know if I have clicked something that I shouldn't have, but lately I am getting some weird displays ...
In the thread listing, I have this wide column ... # 1 below
also a line telling me how many attachments there are ... #3 below
And in the actual topic display, I get this long list of gobbeldigook which takes up more screen space than the topic itself.
What have I done wrong?
Cheers,

I have experienced this once or twice in the past and it looked to me like the page doesn't finish loading completely, slow server perhaps? The text "brilliant future" etc is behind the users' reputation icon, the icon didn't load, so the text stays there.
Looks to me you have a server problem, do any other pages load slowly? May pay to contact your ISP and ask whether they are experiencing server problems, like other have reported, the same page loads fine for me on 2 different computers.

What browser are you using?
Sounds like you have a corrupted file or cookie?
You'll need to clear your Temporary files and re-start you browser.Cheers

Hi DJ,
I am using a iMac with Firefox.
I did as you suggested, well partly .... I wasn't sure about clearing 'Temporary files' but I closed firefox and restarted it and hey presto the problem seems to be solved. I am kicking myself that I did not restart anyway, because I always tell my wife ... if there is a computer problem, restart ... but just assumed that the problem was on the forum end!!
Thanks for that ... it is great to have the old format back ... I am too old for change!!
Cheers,
