Ceiling Joist gaps
About one in every four joists in my ceiling have at least a 250-500mm gap between them, they are not broken just don't go all the way across. Now i have been in many a roof in my time but never seen this before.
Just wondering if i add a bit of timber and drill it through and bolt it all together on both sides, is that the best way to go about it? Please see attached pic for reference.
