WOODWORKING QUIZ for 27 Sept 04
Good Evening Friends,
I have acquired a few coffee cans of nuts, bolts, and other odds and ends over the years. When I have to dig through my collection, it's a pain (in my fingers).
Rather than dumping them on my workbench and sorting through them one at a time and return them to the can, what would be a better method of sorting them and returning to the coffee can all at one time?

As usual I have a jig for that as well. It is a piece of chipboard with timber edges all round except in one corner where there is a small opening.
You tip the contents of your odd screw bucket in it, select your screws and pour the remainder back into the bucket. The opening works like a spout.
Surprised that you don't know that Ralph as it was on a yankee tips website.
Peter.
