Floor Tiles 1st or Wall Sheeting 1st
Just an easy one for someone in the know ...I am erecting a partition wall between my workshop and a kitchen area next to the work area and I have the opportunity to do either 1 of 2 options
1)Lay Floor tiles first and leave approx 8mm gap from edge of tiles to wall studs then sheet the walls to overlap the tiles then use 5mm wide aluminium skirting.
2) Sheet Wall first, neatly cut tiles to within 4mm of the wall sheeting then 5mm wide aluminium skirting to hide edge of cut tiles.
Option 1 seems to be the "NO BRAINER", but I would like to hear if anyone disagrees and for what reasons
Cheers Scott
