Default G'day from the Nations Capital.

I have always loved woring with wood, but all to often it is repairing damaged doors or some type of maintenance around the house. I recently purchased a Taurus table saw. I noticed in one of the threads someone found the same problem of the slop in the miter slide. I am going to make up a new slide from a billet piece of aluminium.. Apart from the slide, I am pretty happy with the saw. I can do lots of things now that were eithere too expesive or just too much like hard work using hand tools.

I am sure I will be spending plent of time using this site. I hope to get some pics up soon to show off my aceivments

Hi'ya Grim ...welcome to the forums

...a Taurus tablesaw, huh? Well, my wife has a Taurus also, 'cept it was made by Ford and has 4 wheels. Far as I can tell no saw blade in the back seat
    Cheers,
