Hello everyone,

I have huge problem and hope you may give me some advice. Well, I hired a company from Willoughby/Sydney for renovating my apartment. Its rather small job, new kitchen, some wall work, plumbing , shelves, etc The company said they will finish work in 3 weeks, which is said in contract.

However they seems to be quite slow with their work. 3 weeks passed and even more weeks. Work goes very slowly, somebody is coming for few hours and then for next few days nothing is happening.

I tried to talk with them, but was always was bumped out by secretary and she was never able to connect me with person who manages this job. When finally I got to him he said he never agreed to any deadline and refuse to provide any reasonable time to finish this work.

All that sounds very dodgy to me. How can I force the company to finally finish the project and how can I compensate all time I am not leaving in my apartment, which is very inconvenient and expensive.
