    Default Unithane cork and timber

    Hi all,

I have some cork and timber polyurethane that I'm spraying on a couple of ply wood boxes I made.

I'm wondering how much I should thin it? I did some yesterday and I must have thinned it either too much or not enough as it appears to have some dry spots as you spray it.

    Thanks
    Geoff

Geoff dry spots maybe weather related humidity or distance from the area your spraying overlap

what are you using to spray?? with type of gun?

air pressure, rocking motion (the swipe action) may have cleared the pick up pipe in the gun allowing distance to change from the job.

I'm using a gravity feed spray gun so I don't think it's because of the pipes being blocked or anything. I added 120ml of thinners to 600ml poly. do you think I should go 50% poly and 50% thinners maybe?
