    Talking Saying and Expressions

During the short time I have been learning things, and having fun on this web site I have noticed that some of the contributors are prolific users of wit and the occasional mot. I wonder if it can all be put to good use?

I am interested in sayings and expressions of Australian origin and I feel sure that there are many of you that have your 'gem'....Please feel free to express it here.

Examples to get you going -

1.It was that cold that it froze the walls off the bark humpy.
2.I knew a bloke that was so tight if he cut you a slice of bread there would only be one side on it.
    3. The blessing catagory: I hope your ear'oles turn to ****'oles and **** trickles down the side of your face.
    4. If your head was a big as your brains you could wear a peanut shell as a panama hat. (nice rhythm, don't you think?)

    Com'on folks get cracking.

I'd love to help Peter but I'm as busy as a one legged man in an asre-kicking contest. I need to get this work done before dinner but I'm so hungry I could eat the crotch out of a low-flying duck. Could use a beer too, I'm as dry as a dead dingo's donger.

I'd say for the most part, the members do.

Who are kept in line by a few usually fairly benign administrators.
