Mains Upgrade
Whilst I eagerly await RCD/MCB combo question to be answered...I was wondering if people think is worthwhile for me to consider upgrading my mains...
My house is about 20 years old. My board was upgraded a couple years ago when I had 3 phase connected to the house for aircon. My main switch is rated at 63A. As I understand it the cables (underground from my street pole) are 16mm.
So is there any point in upgrading to 100 amp - or am I getting 63A across three phases therefore getting the equivalent of 180 odd amp?
