    Default Hey everyone

Gday, im basically interested in making old bunged up rifles look pretty again. Im a juniour at my rifle club and saw an old stock lying around and thought i could make it look pretty. I was kinda new to anything wood and found some ancient sand paper 150 grit and began sanding, i was so amazed at how smooth it was and i showed my dad and his mate the just laughed and said that i could do a better job then that. So i spent my pocket money and made my way up to 2000grit and created my first pretty stock. It was then used as a beginners clubs stock and im still disapointed how it has been treated for a week of my time sanding and polishing. So now im doing my own one. The club captain was nice enough to give me a rifle and thats why im on this site, searching for knowledge. Anyhow any help or any thing that you would like to share to help me would be most appreaciated.
    Good Hunting!
