Protective finish
I've turned a mulberry base for a clock I'm making for my grand-daughter, and polished it to 1200 grit - what beautiful wood - and now believe I should protect it from too much handling.
What can I use with neither colour nor sheen/shine?

I'm not a turner, but Shellawax might be an option for you

I'd probably go with Ubeauts Sanding Sealer or a 5 parts metho to 1 part White Shellac finished with Traditional Wax to knock the shine off
