Undercoat/sealer for brickwork
Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone can give some advice on painting brickwork. We have a double brick retaining wall which is lightly bagged in plain cement. We are about to paint it - one paint place told me we should put a sealer on before the paint, another told me we can paint straight on.
The back of the wall is sealed with a bituman sealer and is covered by dirt etc. It is only the front and top we want to paint. Yes or no to the sealer/undercoat? If yes can you recommend any products?
Many thanks,
