Anybody use this spray poly?
Hi,
I am sussing out spray poly for blackwood kitchen cabinet doors & would appreciate any comments on this product (two pack Spraythane 2000 or acid lacquer). It is Oz manufactured by Campbell / Evic.

nope...
You have to be a bit careful using 2pk poly-u on timber. it dosn't have much give and we all know timber likes a bit of give, especially on timber doors and their floating panels.
A/C Lacquer is IMO by far the better option. And I would advise Mirtone 830 (or whatever the equivilant is now)

Tanks maestro Shane,
My other choice was A/C lacquer. What is the difference between NC, pre cat & A/C two packs?

NC is pre cat. And from what I understand (or remember) it cures from solvent evaporation.
and A/C needs the acid to trigger the curing process.
Somthing like that anyway
