We are stripping a post war home it has lead paint. We are following the best practice guidelines of catching and disposing.

We have been manually scraping the loose paint off with tungsten carbide scrapers. We have removed all the loose paint. There are sections of bare wood and sections of sound paint. Do we have to strip the whole house bare?

Looking at hiring a hepa sander or low heat stripping as chemical stipping is taking a while to get the sound paint off.

Ive read numerous posts about stripping. No one way seems that fastest. Any faster ways available?

Also can you use a oil based primer over the sound paint?
