Moving bathroom, and starting afresh
Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before... but I'm going to be moving my bathroom from the current spot slightly, and makin it bigger.
Obviously I will be ripping out the existing and putting in new. I've done plenty of work around the place and so am pretty handy - though I've never undertaken a bathroom before.
I'm ok with the plumbing and so on, but my main question centres around the flooring and shower and bath. The house is post war with wide pine boards. I'm after advice on what to do in the bathroom (thinking of tiling) with the floor.
Should I put some kind of sheeting down first, then put some sort of self levelling compound down, then tile? If not, can someone please advise on the best course of action.
