I'm signing off now. I am booked in for heart bypass surgery on Monday morning and have to be at the hospital in an hour.
This is for real, no joke.
Should be back home in a week if all goes well. By the way what was the cricket score. Was it India 2 Aussie 0

    Cheers

Wonder how the kiwis would react to that war salute?

Same as usual mate , we salute back
Jock, I don't see the words "Battle of Agincourt" mentioned anywhere in Jerry's post. I'm not a history buff though, so it doesn't matter a stuff to me .
To grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional

Confidence, the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.

The salute he wrote about comes from the Battle of Agincourt and
    the Hundred Years War .
There maybe an outside chance , a very slim one , that it is a myth .
One thing is for certain , no historian that I can find , of have placed the incident in any battle between Scotland and England .

Who cares where it came from? It is a good yarn and as stated this is a jokes forum.

    Get real folks.
